Chocolate for Everyone Week

Chocolate is delicious. It's a product that is gifted for many different occasions, especially during the festive month in December. Chocolate is accessible to everyone, but not fair to everybody. The value chain is complex and involves many stakeholders.

During this week we have zoomed in on the big question: how can we close the living income gap in the cacao industry? Each day from 15 to 17 December there were online webinars with stakeholders from the industry who have shed light on different pathways for closing this living income gap. We have explored the role of transparency & traceability, biodiversity & natural capital, and have closed the week by exploring different perspectives on what should be done to create only fair and sustainable chocolate bars.
