Hosted a workshop on interactive model cards aimed at media professionals

Description of the workshop:
How can media organizations tackle ethical issues in AI-based applications? In the DRAMA project, we carried out several case studies to investigate what (ethical) tools can contribute to specific projects. Together with RTL, researchers from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences are exploring using (interactive) model cards for automatic speech recognition models. Model cards could be used to improve the transparency of the model as well as to explore bias within the model. In this interactive session we invite developers, media experts and other enthusiasts to think along and together create a prototype for a new interactive model card!
