EPIC-we first cultural game jam

Description

The Visual Methodologies collective co-organized and participated in the second Cultural Game Jam within the EU project EPIC-we, participating in the role of researchers. The game jam was co-organized and facilitated by the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision and DropStuff media, and took place in Hilversum. Over two intense days, 17 diverse young people set out to make games inspired by the cultural heritage collections and spaces of Sound & Vision, Hilversum’s renowned media museum and archive. Four cultural game prototypes were created around the themes of climate change and mental health.
