Description

To support how students perceive their own cultural identity, while investigating cultural difference from their peers’ perspective. One of the aims of this module is to explore the many ways in which culture interrelates with, and effects the communication processes while learning more about the institutions that facilitate cross cultural dialogue legally, socially and politically.
The site visit to the International Criminal Court, with an opportunity to talk about the role of court interpreters, the impact of interpretation and how this shapes our understanding of legal decision making, is central to experiential learning.
