Description
Presentation about the preliminary results of the project 'KIEM Energiebesparing en verdienmodellen aanpassingen CVinstallaties'. The presentation discusses the importance of a low supply and return temperature in central heating systems for reducing gas consumption and switching to renewable heating sources. Additionally, the presentation discusses results of data analyses of 1400 comfort assessments at low-temperature heating from the Milieu Centraal 'Verwarmingstest' and monitoring and experimental reduction of supply temperatures in 220 homes from the WUP research by Deltares. The KIEM research results show that a large fraction (45%) of homes might already be fit for low supply temperatures. Additionally the research indicates the relative importance of various building characteristcs in determining a house's LT-Readiness. Finally this research shows that gas savings by lowering supply temperatures are substantial (3-8%).Period | 11 Oct 2022 |
