Description

I held a Machine Learning workshop for the CureQ consortium together with my colleague Joram van Beem. The workshop consisted of a practical and a theoretical part.

In the theoretical part of the workshop, we explained what Machine Learning was, gave a detailed explanation of a Machine Learning model (Random Forest Classifier), gave some examples of Machine Learning models that we currently use, and presented how we plan to use Machine Learning further in the consortium.

In the practical part of the workshop, we wanted to learn the participants how a Machine Learning model can be trained. We made a ToolBox where the participants could preprocess and clean their data in a simple Graphical User Interface (GUI). Next, the participants used the preprocessed data in a prepared Jupyter Notebook Python file to train their own Machine Learning model.
