With Shirley Niemans I developed this faculty-wide interdisciplinary minor Makers Lab. This minor challenges students to think critically about the way they make and design. Students acquire hands-on knowledge and skills that enable them to experience how things might be made differently and discover alternatives to reduce the environmental impact of man-made things.
