Description
In this interactive seminar, we will explore what it means to be an English teacher in a context with Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). You will be invited to consider your own views on language learning and teaching in this context and review your ideals and practices in the light of a framework developed for scoping the pedagogical and collaborative practices of Teachers of English in Bilingual Streams (TEBS). We will discuss some prototypical practices of TEBs in the Netherlands and consider implications for your own approach to teaching and collaborating with teachers of other subjects in a CLIL setting.
