Analysis and proposal on ESG risk and Fraud risk for Banco FIE, Bolivia. Project co-funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Conducted a Climate & ESG Risk analysis based on interviews, industry best practices, local regulation and comparative experience (TCDF framework in Latin América, ASFI regulatory framework, ECB recommendations and own strategy on SME and microlending clients).
- Delivered (1) a strategic proposal for the integration of ESG Risk in the policy framework of the bank, including recommendations on the current SARAS (Sistema de Análisis de Riesgos Ambientales y Sociales), (2) policy proposal -exclusion list, energy policy, a.o.- and (3) a (draft) proposal of a new policy for sustainable lending, in Spanish.
- Conducted a Fraud Risk analysis based on interviews and Rabobank best practices, identifying challenges and opportunities in the light of current policies and strategic aims.
- Delivered a set of recommendations for improvement of the Fraud Risk framework of the bank, based on interviews and Rabobank experience.
