Workshop "Apophenic Taxonomies and the noise of AI"

In this workshop, we explore how notions of apophenia relate to the world of algorithms and how AI hallucinations and noise might allow us to build new ways to see the world in a multitude of taxonomies. We will reflect on how these alternative ways of looking and creating worlds can challenge embedded hierarchies and biases in current AI systems.
