The research Grout Forensic Science organised, together with teachers from the education program Forensic Science at the 8th National Conference Forensic Research for all partners in the criminal justice chain (4-11-2015). Central theme of the conference was centered around the use of digital evidence in the forensic investigation process. Plenary lectures and poster presentation by students were held around this theme. The conference was organized by Anneke Koster, Brenda Hendriks, Harrie van der Meer and Christianne de Poot. Sander Ernst was chairperson.
• The course Forensic Science at the HvA (Anneke Koster) organized in collaboration with the research group Forensic Science (Christianne de Poot) a session in honour of the 10th anniversary of the course Forensic Science. This session with the theme “Quality of criminal investigation” (Presentation by Michiel Princen) was chaired by Christianne de Poot.
• Anna Mapes: 23-09-2015 – Frontiers in Forensic Science: Innovations in Crime Scene Investigations – Bringing Science and Technology to the Scene. Conference organized in relation to the collaboration between NYPD and HvA/UvA for police, forensic scientists and students. Anna Mapes was chairperson of the conference and gave a presentation: LocalDNA – Bringing mobile DNA technologies to the crime scene.
