DescriptionWhen people talk about recycling, plastic bottles often come to mind — but what about that favourite old pair of jeans that have grown just a bit too tight?

According to Lori DiVito, recycling denim is a creative way to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ms. DiVito was at UN Headquarters in New York this week managing a side exhibit booth for the Alliance for Responsible Denim, on the margins of the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).

She spoke with UN News’s Liz Scaffidi on how recycled denim plays a role in sustainable development.
