The Occupational Therapy – Participation and the Environment research group focuses on supporting individuals who face challenges in daily activities at home, school, work, or in their community. Particular attention is given to the influence of the environment. Our researchers examine the social, physical, cultural, and societal environments, identifying factors that affect participation and inclusion within one's surroundings. The research group explores ways in which environments can positively contribute to participation, perceived health, and well-being. Equality and justice are at the core of this mission.
