Research interests

Rob Lubberink's research interests focus on the role of responsible entrepreneurship and innovation in response to grand social-ecological challenges. Before joining AUAS, he managed an international research project on inclusive business models for smallholder resilience to climate change. Additionally, he developed entrepreneurship education innovation to foster inclusivity of Global South perspectives. Currently, he focuses organizational entrepreneurship in complex international value chains to support social-ecological systems’ resilience. This inherently means shifting between different theoretical lenses including practice theory, materiality, and complex adaptive systems theory, and adopting predominantly qualitative research designs.
