Research interests

Ted Veldkamp is Lecturer/Researcher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Science (HvA). At the HvA, she researches 'adaptation to hydrological extremes under a changing climate and in an urbanizing context' through the project 'Infiltrerende stad'. As lecturer, she teaches in various hydrology courses within the B.Sc. Built Environment.

Before, Ted worked as Assistant Professor at the department of Water and Climate Risk at the Institute for Environmental Studies, VU Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and as a research fellow at the Water department of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), in Laxenburg (Austria). In 2017, she received her PhD-degree cum laude for here dissertation 'Water scarcity at the global and regional scales'.
