Abstract
Workshop agenda (60 minutes):
1. Short overview of Position paper sustainability ICU care EfCCNa and current initiatives in various countries. (Lecture 10 minutes)
2. Round table discussions led by members of the EfCCNa sustainability working group on different topics to investigate barriers and facilitators towards green ICU care in different countries (40 minutes)
a. General knowledge in relation to healthcare
b. Reuse materials - Recycling and waste selection
c. Transport professionals and patients/family
d. Energy use (devices, heating, data)
e. Green teams and organization in the ward/hospital
f. Awareness in relation to medication use (dexmed, PCM and gas)
3. Closing up: wrap up of the discussions at each table and take home message for future steps (10 minutes)
Workshop format (e.g. combination of lecture(s) and/or demonstration/hands-on/panel discussion etc.):
Lecture for all participants + round table discussion in smaller groups to investigate experiences and learn about barriers and facilitators regarding different initiatives towards green ICU care.
Interactive aspects: The Workshop will be interactive for all participants.
